  • Speaker to match look and feel of existing TV

This speaker has the front 3 channels of a 5.1 surround system. Two additional speakers are mounted on the opposite wall and the subwoofer is placed in an out of the way spot. In addition to bringing up the TV experience several major notches the speaker system does double duty and fills the space with music via Apple Airplay, Pandora and Internet radio. A/V equipment was placed in a pre-existing niche. Total control of the system is provided by a custom programmed color touch screen remote that 'talks' to an RTI XP6 control system.

Equipment: Samsung TV, Paradigm speakers, Marantz receiver, Apple TV, Samsung Blu-ray, Panamax power filtering, RTI Corp remote control and system processor.

  • Rock speakers bring iTunes music poolside

A pair of Paradigm granite colored stereo/mono rock speakers distributes sound evenly across an expansive pool area. Balanced sound is achieved by sending both channels of stereo audio to each speaker. This prevents hearing just half the music if you are close to one of the speakers. Music is beamed via Apple Airplay to an Airport express connected directly to an appropriately sized amplifier.

Equipment: Paradigm rock speakers, Niles amplifier, Apple AirPort Express, Honeywell direct burial cable.
